Zakariya Amataya : Book of Hikus
[1]
Lazy afternoon looks
Like a morning
no sunshine on my window.
[2]
A young man looks
like a dog
Barking at plane.
[3]
Nightfall
the sun sleep
in mountain hug.
[4]
The coffee pot
boiling on the sun
I am waiting lonely morning.
[5]
Last night
earthquake in my head
nothing can relief only sleep.
[6]
Morning came
I spread my wings wide
open to the morning light.
[7]
Bamboo leafs
green and yellow
winter wind blowing like a storm.

“Above all, a haiku should be very simple and free of all poetic trickery and make a little picture and yet be as airy and graceful as a Vivaldi pastorella.” —Jack Kerouac

I wish I could compete,
but, I live on the ground,
and I’m weak;
all I can do is, speak
And hope…
The wind would blow you my way, again !
have fun…
cool
happy new year
Nice Higus.
I had never seen this book before. I truly love poems so I would like to get a copy.
Going on your good work.. Be a poet but not a politician, haha.
